The evening, hour by hour
The home page follows a night at the restaurant: 18 h mezzés, 19 h the grill, 21 h the wines. A side index shows the hour as you scroll.

A concept redesign for a Syrian restaurant in Outremont: the home page follows one evening, from the mezzés to the grill to the wines, and every menu opens in the page.
A concept build made to show what we can do for a brand in this market. The brand and people are fictional.
The challenge
A restaurant known for its atmosphere needs a site that feels like the room: warm, dark and generous. It also has to answer the practical questions fast: what is on the menu, when is it open, and how to book.
The approach
We built the home page as one evening told hour by hour, with arched photos that echo the dining room, a live “open tonight” line, menus that open in the page instead of PDFs, and a reservation button that follows you everywhere.

The home page follows a night at the restaurant: 18 h mezzés, 19 h the grill, 21 h the wines. A side index shows the hour as you scroll.

Signature dishes read like a menu, with prices, over embers that drift as you scroll.

A short list of Syrian and Lebanese bottles and araks, with a link to the full wine list.

Dinner, brunch, brunch drinks, desserts and wines. Each menu opens right in the page, no PDF to download on a phone.

Sections fold open, each dish with its translation and price, and the reservation button always in reach.

A timeline of the restaurant, from the first night to the move to avenue Van Horne and national awards.

A page that sells an evening as a gift, linked to the restaurant’s existing gift card partner.
The live build
Screen recordings of the real site, unedited: scrolling, animations and page transitions exactly as a visitor sees them.
What moves
Sections tied to the hours of service, with a side index that follows the scroll.
The hero reads the time in Montréal and says whether the room is open and until when.
Five menus with folding sections, readable on a phone, with PDF as an option.
French first, with an English version of every page.
